Monday 30th December - Arrive We look forward to giving you a warm welcome when you arrive in the hotel for this special celebration package. Get unpacked and settle in to your room. Once you have relaxed after your journey, a delicious 3-course dinner will be served in the Morvern Suite followed by an evening of live entertainment for you to enjoy. You can choose to have a quiet night should you wish to ensure you are fresh for tomorrow night, or for those ready to celebrate as soon as possible, bars will be open until late.
Tuesday 31st December - Hogmanay Enjoy a leisurely full Scottish breakfast. After you have eaten, weather permitting, why not take a brisk walk around Oban and join us back in the hotel where a soup and finger buffet will be served between 12noon–2pm to heat you up. Relax in the afternoon then we invite you to meet your fellow guests in the Lounge Bar for a welcome drink and canapés before the main event! This evening a sumptuous Hogmanay Dinner will be served followed by a night of great entertainment with the Royal Hotel Scottish Show featuring your MC for the evening and introducing Torquil Telfer – Swinging Dancing Piper and the Strathmore Ceilidh Band. Have your glasses charged with Bubbly to bring in the New Year!
Wednesday 1st January 2014 - New Years Day (Bliadhna Mhath Ur) No need to rise early as Brunch will be served from 10am–1pm allowing for a leisurely day around Oban. Blow away some cobwebs and walk off any excess from the previous night! Join us for tea and coffee served in the Lounge Bar between 3pm–4pm. A delicious dinner this evening in the Morven Suite will hopefully see you fit again to enjoy another lively night's entertainment.
Thursday 2nd January - Depart Farewell Breakfast – wishing all our guests a pleasant and safe journey home and the very best for 2014.
