General Information about your Strathmore Travel holiday
When booking please state if you have a preference of seating location on the coach, otherwise we will allocate you a seat. Food and beverages will not be available to purchase on the coach and smoking and consumption of alcohol is prohibited on board. Our driver will make regular comfort breaks along your journey.
Departure Point & Times
This will be arranged at time of booking and a written confirmation sent out to you. Our pick up times are based upon our drivers’ available driving time and as such we would ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to ensure that the coach can leave without delay.
You will receive your labels at least 7 days before your departure date. These will detail the tour name, pick-up point and seat number - your driver will be there to assist you upon your arrival at the coach.
We kindly ask that you take time to fill in your comments card. Your experience is extremely important to us and your comments will help us to build a wider range of breaks tailored to your requirements.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
(For purposes of these terms and conditions Strathmore Travel is referred to as ‘us’ and ‘we’. The person placing the booking is referred to as ‘you’.)
All packages detailed in our brochure are subject to availability. Once you have returned your booking form we will contact you to confirm availability of your chosen break. Submission of the booking form does not guarantee your booking. As stated some packages may vary in content, please ask for full details at time of booking.
We require a deposit of £20 and cost of insurance (if applicable) per person at time of booking. The balance of your holiday is due 28 days prior to departure date. If we do not receive full payment by this date we reserve the right to release your booking and retain your deposit.
We are happy to accept last minute bookings and require full payment when the booking is placed.
Changes to your Booking
From time to time it may become necessary to alter the published programme, we reserve the right to do so without prior notice.
Should you wish to alter your booking in any way please contact us as soon as possible, and confirm in writing.
We welcome guests with special requirements and will do our utmost to meet your needs. Our hotels do not all have full disabled accessible facilities and we ask that you check at time of booking as to the suitability of your chosen hotel.
Cancellation of Booking by you
Please contact us as soon as possible should you decide to cancel your booking in order to avoid unnecessary charges. Our charges are as follows:
Cancellation date (days before departure) - Charge
28 days + - Deposit
21-27 days - 25% of full cost
14 -20 days - 50% of full cost
1-13 days - 75% of full cost
Day of departure - Full cost
Cancellation of Booking by Strathmore Travel
It may become necessary for us to cancel your booking in certain unforeseen circumstances beyond our control or if the group does not reach minimum numbers. In this case we will offer you an alternative break to the value of your original booking or a break of lesser value where we will refund you the difference in price or a full refund of any monies paid.
Insurance is not included in the price of the breaks. We recommend all customers have adequate cover.
Protecting your money
Strathmore Travel comply with EEC Tour Package Regulations for the security of any payments made towards your holiday.
At time of printing all details in this publication are correct, should any amendments arise we will inform you at time of booking.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Scottish Law.
